The Shkoder Police has seized four remotely controlled mines and arrested their owner.
The news was given by local police sources, who say that Pjeter Begaj is suspected of being a supplier for dangerous criminal armed groups.
According to sources, the suspect has several previous precedents for arm traffic.
Source add that during this operation, police also seized four handguns and a silencer.
A similar operation took place three days ago in Fushe-Kruja, where another trafficker was arrested with a considerable amount of weapons.
The 45-year-old from Rubik, Marjan Gjergji, another person with prior crimes and member of an illegal network of explosives, was arrested after being watched by the police for more than one month.
Gjergji was caught with 7 sticks of dynamite, 15 sticks of TNT and a considerable number of detonators.
