The ARMO refinery, closed for several months due to huge debts, will start operating soon.

The “Jonian Refinen and Trading Company” has reached an agreement with banks, as first creditors, to exploit the only company that processes crude oil in our country.

The news was made public by “Bankers Petroleum”, the Canadian company that uses the Patos Marinza source. They annopunced that by October 2017, they will sell 65% of the oil production to the local refinery, based on an agreement with IRTC.

Making ARMO operational again takes 1200 employees back at work, who have been unemployed for almost one year. ARMO has been in a financial collapse for some years.

Confidential sources told Top Channel that with this agreement, with the refinery processing 65% of the local production, will finalize the problem of families and workers, in an area where this business is seen as the only financial source.
