Top Channel’s newest daily program “Top Talk” started today at 15:40, with Denis Dyrnjaja. Every day there will be a guest, talking about an actuality topic.

Economy is the most sensible matter of the Albanian Society. This was the reason why Arben Ahmetaj, Minister of Economy, was his first guest on his show.

Are there oligarchs in Albania? This was the direct question of journalist Denis Dyrnjaja for the Minister, who said that the idea of oligarchs is rooted in the minds of the opposition to criminalize the economy.

“There are oligarchs only in the virtuality of sick minds. People who work hard, they take risks. When there is risk there is also a good profit rate, but there is also failure. The idea of oligarchs is based on minds within the opposition to criminalize the economy. There has been a method to criminalize everything for years. People who work with the economy need our respect and they have a legal obligation to the law”, he answered.

Another direct question for Minister Ahmetaj was about the money laundering issue in Albania. The minister said that the banking system in Albania has very strong rules, which do everything possible to stop the money laundering. However, according to the minister, those who launder money try to use every possible gap in the system, in every country of the world.

In the recent days there has been a misbalance between people who profit pension, who are always more in number, and people who leave the country. This raises the question that future generations might be unable to have a pension.

Ahmetaj admitted the issue and noted that the ratio between contributors and those who benefit must be improved in the future, something that the government is already doing, according to him.
