Archbishop Rrok Mirdita passed away

Archbishop Rrok Mirdita of Tirana and Durres passed away at 76.
The Archibishop suffered a brain hemorrhage and was undergoing a surgery, but was unable to survive.
The news was given by the Metropolitan Archdiocese Tirana-Durres.
Mirdita was born on September 28th, 1939, in Kellezen, Ulqin, Montenegro. He was ordained as a minister on July 4th, 1965, by the Archibishop of Tivar, Alexander Tokic.
In 1992, Pope John Paul II appointed him Archbishop of Tirana and Durres, where he dedicated his work to the spiritual recovery and human promotion of the people.
