The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy signed a concession agreement for the Arber Road, after completing the negotiations with the company that won the bid.
The agreement was signed by the General Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, Gentian Keri, and the President of the Gjoka Construction Company, Rrok Gjoka.
Minister Gjiknuri said that this is an important and difficult construction work, one of the best-completed engineering works in Albania.
“It will cost 240 million EUR and the contractor will be paid within 13 years. The contractor will start the works with his own funds, and will also have its maintenance during the concession period”, Gjiknuri declared, adding that there will be other PPP projects in the future.
