This Wednesday was held the first session of the Arben Frroku trial, the
main suspect for the murder of Police Chief Dritan Lamaj, one year ago.
The Prosecutor expressed his concern that the Police officers are blocking the trial, since they do not send the bailiff summoning letters to witnesses.
According to Prosecutor Anton Martinaj, the Chief of the Tirana Police will be updated regularly about this issue.
Frroku reacted by saying that the case is being delayed intentionally, and that he is staying in prison unjustly.
Two witnesses have testified today, while 5 others were missing.
Roland Marina and Kristjan Marinaj have declared that they knew Arben Frroku, but they had no connection with Dritan Lamaj, they simply had heard about him as someone that had problems with several businesses in the area.
