Head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi said at the press conference that today the ballot papers arrive in the districts of Tirana and Durrës. He spoke of the possibility of opening ballot boxes for the April 25 parliamentary elections, if required by a political entity, and warned of severe sanctions for irregularities with ballots.
“We have tried and are continuing to work inorder to have the result within 48 hours after the vote, the time and procedures that we have included in our normative acts, enable this, but we must also calculate the will of the commissioners.
I am sure that the parties and the commissioners have realized that they will no longer have the luxury of playing games related to the issuance of the result”, said among other things Celibashi.
