Appeal to Imams: “Explain followers that Isis is not Islam”

President Bujar Nishani noted that most of the victims in this war are Muslims, which means that there is no clash of civilizations, but a modern human slavery.

“The world peace is threatened by some individuals and terrorist organizations who abuse with the name of God and religion to impose their violent and barbarian methods to other people”, Nishani declared.

The Muslim Community leader explained that nothing that happens in Syria has anything to do with what is taught by Islam and the holy book, Quran.

“The turmoils in the Middle East have nothing in common with the values of Islam”, declared Skender Brucaj.

The President gave a message for the spiritual leaders regarding this issue:

“The spiritual leaders have a decisive and difficult task, but not impossible, to clarify the minds of those individuals who are driven by poverty or lack of education to the empty material promises in exchange of turning into mercenaries for this war without any religious or political cause”, Nishani declared.

For the first time in Tirana was held a conference with the topic: “Islama nd World Peace”, with the presence of religious authorities and diplomatic representatives.
