The appeals of a mother to save her daughter is sent in the beginning of
this new year to every government official and common Albanian.
Alma Lami Konjozi, the 30-year-old from Bulqize, diagnosted with tumor on her bones, might lose her life if she will not be operated within a few days in Israel.
The operation that might save her life has a cost of 40.000 EUR, money that for the poor family from Bulqize are impossible to find in such a short time.
“The only solution is for Alma to enter the operation room as soon as possible and this can be made possible through a platinum prosthesis on her right knee. This disease might go into metastasis, which means that it might enter her blood and make her life saving efforts impossible to succeed. The real cost is 210.000 EUR, but the Chief Rabi of Balkan made it possible to cut the cost down at 70.000 USd. We need to pay 70.000 so that Alma can enter the operation room”, declared the sister of Alma, Ergita.
Alma’s mother says that she has put all her properties on sale but she cannot collect that money in such a short time. The entire family is looking for help in banks, but they have not been able to find a loan.
“We appeal the government to help us with a loan, because we will sell these properties. But if we don’t find the money fast, we’re lost. My daughter will never be able to turn back. We plead to every Albanian to help us with all they can. It will be huge for us, and we know that the Albanian people are full of problems”, declared her mother, Lirie Konjozi.
“We have put everything on sale but we need the money fast. Unfortunately, we cannot sell the properties this quickly. We are pleading to anyone who can help us”, her sister says among tears.
The Israeli doctors need to remove her tumor on the knee and replace it with a platinum part, so that she can walk again. If the operation will not be done on time, it will be too late to help her.
Her relatives have opened two bank accounts on the Credins Bank where anyone can help.
