Apolonia Archaeological Park attracts more visitors

A total of 14.000 tourists visited the Apolonia Park this summer, 6000 during August only.

Recent restoration and new findings have made Apolonia more attractive to tourists, who come in dozens each day from various European countries, showing speial interest to the museum part.

The Archaeological park director said there has been a large interest for the area with statues and the mosaic, inside the museum.

Marin Haxhimihali, director of this park, said that Apolonia has now the archeologic park with the biggest area to visit in the whole country.
