The voting of the three integration laws was a message of the highest
majority leaders in a parliamentary session that started a few hours
late, due to the inability to gather the necessary number of Parliament
Members, who, on the last day of the list, don’t seem too much concerned
about the parliamentary agenda.
Berisha declared that the opposition leader, Edi Rama, did not keep his word for voting the three laws.
“We will vote the three laws, but the fact that you (the Socialist Party Parliament Members) are leaving like this, shows that you have turned it into a matter of bargain. I have one request from Mr.Ilir Meta: he should not turn the voting of the three laws in bargains for his black lists. Do you know what is going on there? They are making a black list, and which one is being accepted or not by the Socialist Movement for Integration. This is the truth. We can vote the laws even by midnight, but these bargains are not over yet and this is another problem for them”, Berisha declared.
Although the Parliament had declared that the three laws would be proposed in today’s parliamentary session, even without the presence of 84 Parliament Members, the intervention of the Prime Minister caused another postponement. Berisha declared that the laws will still remain on top of the agenda, until the Parliament will be dispersed, on May 24th. The Parliament Speaker, Jozefina Topalli, appealed for the approving of the laws. But none of the highest majority laws was there to declare if the laws are ready to be voted, when the opposition has requested to review them and let them enter in act on September.
“Mr.Rama, allow the Parliament Members to vote the three laws”, Topalli declared.
