The Vice Chairman of the High Council of Justice, Elvis Cefa; Chief
Inspector Marsida Xhaferllari; for Chief Inspector Valbona Vata and 13
citizens have been reported this Thursday at the Prosecution General for
delaying the civilian process of the Swedish citizen, Ana Nordstrom.
This report was made by notifying the President, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, the US and Swedish Embassy, and the European Commission of Enlargement.
The association of Anti-corruption Lawyers says that Cefa, Vata and Xhaferllari have abused with their power and have allowed these consequences on Ana Vebi Nordstrom.
The trial for an inheritance has started on January 2011, and has not been able to conclude even today due to intentional postponements and after judges have abandoned the case.
The report says that this claim has been proved by the Constitutional Court, which has verified a violation of the constitutional right for a normal legal procedure.
Ana Nordstrom, who hasn’t had an answer from the Albanian justice for the past four years, has never been late in any procedural action.
In most of the cases, the delays were caused by the lawyer of the other part, who presented fictive medical reports, and as soon as he got better, the one to get sick was his client.
Then the Court was the one postponing the session with two to six months. According to the report, the behaviors of these judges were favored by the Vice Chairman of the HCJ, Elvis Cefa; and by the Chief Inspectors Valbona Vata and Marsida Xhaferllari.
“We have notified former President Bamir Topi and the current President, Bujar Nishani, together with the former Vice Chairman of the HCJ, Kreshnik Spahiu, and the vice Chief Inspector, Valbona Vata; the current Vice Chairman of the HCJ, Elvis Cefa, and the current Chief Inspector, Marsida Xhaferllari; the former Minister of Justice, Eduart Halimi, and the current Minister, Nasip naco”, the report says.
According to the lawyers, the case is very clear, since the acts prove in details the claims of Ana Nordstrom, whose paternity was recognized since when she was born in Sweden, when her father was still alive.
This fact was proven in front of the Swedish authorities, the report says, but Ana was discriminated because she is a Swedish citizen with an Albanian father.
This illegal court has been committed intentionally by the Albanian court, with the purpose to favor citizen Ferik Velija, brother of Ana Nordstrom, for altering the ownership of the immovable properties that are inherited from their father.
