One year ago, an international jury announced the construction of the
new Parliamentary complex among the 12 competing, created by an Austrian
Studio.
The competition for this project will be held again, since no final decision has been taken.
The Committee for the new Parliamentary Complex will take the decision this Tuesday, competing with two previous projects that were classified on the second and third places, respectively the project of an Italian and French studio.
Unofficial sources confirmed for Top Channel that the Italian project, which is ranked second, is the most favored.
The Parliament, as investor, is not obliged to sign an agreement with the studio that receives more points from the international jury, if the Parliament is not happy with the conditions offered by the winning studio.
Whatever the winning project will be, these three have been described by the architects as projects that keep the symbol of transparency and interaction of the citizens with the Parliament.
This Tuesday will be learned about how will this symbolic cost and if the constraction of the new Parliamentary Complex will start during the 100th year of independence.
