Another arrest for the Divjaka drug

A third person was arrested for the Divjaka airplane case. After the
arrest of Giorgio Riformato and Saimir Bajrami, the third suspect is
Aurel Pupe, 24, from Lushnje, for whom the Court of Serious crimes has
given an arrest measure for drug traffic attempt.
The Prosecutor General confirmed that Aurel Pupe, resident in Lushnje, has at least been involved in the packing of the drug, since experts have found his fingerprints on the drug packages.
His arrest was kept secret for several days, while Pupe says he was part of the packaging, but he didn’t tell anything about the other people involved.
Police is looking for two other Lushnje citizens, whose identity was kept secret for the investigation.
These arrests cast a shadow of doubt on the declarations of Saimir Bajrahim, who said that he bought the drug in Kruje. The Italian pilot, Giorgio Riformato, has abandoned the lawyer that was given to him by the Albanian government, and hired Ramazan Topuzi, who challenged the decision for his arrest at the Court of Appeal, saying that there is no evidence that the Italian pilot knows Saimir Bajrami.
“There is no criminal fact here. This is an accident and the accusations of the Prosecution are not based on facts. He s not a clandestine, he flew for a panorama sighting in the Albanian Riviera and fell in Divjaka”, declared Ramazan Topuzi, lawyer of Giorgio Riformato.
Bajrami’s lawyer declared that he challenged the arrest measure at the Court of Appeal, saying that his client was not caught doing anything illegal, and that the testimony has contradictions.
