Although the legal deadline for closing analogue TV signals has expired for Tirana and Durres, some subjects have not turned the antennas off.
The Audiovisual Media Authority say that this is not something new, but this time there will be no turning back. TV stations will have to implement the law.
“TV stations have made extraordinary investments and citizens will have great benefits. There are 38 channels without payment, besides those that are being offered by the platforms. I appeal the TV stations to respect the law”, said the AMA Director, Gentian Sala.
Sala says that there will be no need for harsh interventions for turning the antennas off.
“What I have learned in these five years is that all issues can be resolved through communication”, Sala declared.
With most of the population being concentrated in Tirana and Durres, some of the families have not obtained the decoder. However, the digitalization process will not stop.
