The football club of Palermo purchased the attacker Agon Mehmeti, a
Kosovoan of Swedish citizenship. He was presented this Wednesday and
considered the transfer to Palermo as his big chance.
The 23-year-old showed his readiness to play this Sunday if the coach will see it reasonable.
He declared in a press conference that he wishes to play as much as possible in the field, and doesn’t have any preferred side for scoring; all he needs is the ball to enter the net.
Agon Mehmeti, born in 1989, signed a contract with Palermo until 30 June 2016, and his shirt number will be 24.
The Sicilian football club of Palermo had announced the purchase of the Kosovo Albanian attacker much earlier, but since his contract with the Swedish club, Malmo, expired on 30 October 2011, the purchase was made official only in the winter season.
