Top Channel has learned from diplomatic sources that the US, French,
British, German, EU and OSCE ambassadors in Tirana have met on December
14th, focusing on the meeting of the opposition for this Thursday.
The ambassadors agreed that any kind of violence during the protest will be unacceptable.
Ambassadors agreed to encourage the police and security forces to show maximal restraint.
They said political parties and their leading figures who organize protests with violence should be brought to justice and face consequences.
Every effort to stop the Parliament’s work through violence will be seen as an attempt to hamper the functionality of democratic institutions, and would be the read line for these countries and organizations.
