A few days after the death of the Albanian genius writer from Kosovo,
Ali Podrimija, the National Theater in Albania held a poetic and musical
evening titled “Always, Ali Podrimja”.
Many of the best Albanian artists were present to honor the simple and great artist, such as Yllka Mujo, Bujar Asqeriu, Mirush Kabashi and Fatos Sela, who recited some of the most powerful verses written by Podrimja.
The lyrical artists of the Opera and Ballet Theater, and other artists invited from the University of Arts, performed musical acts from music writers Feim Ibrahimi, Rauf Dhoni, composed on Podrima’s poems. High rank academics from Kosovo and Podrima’s relatives, such as Ali Aliu and Visar Zhiti, shared their thought and memories about the personality of the Albanian literature.
Present in this ceremony were the family members, the son and newphew of the poet, the Albanian Prime Minister, the Ambassadors of Kosovo and Albania in Tirana and the Minister of Culture, Aldo Bumci.
