Aleks Nika, the young man from Lezha who was killed in the January 21st protest, in Tirana, was declared Citizen of Honor in Kolsh.
The council of this commune voted in full unanimity, considering it as an act of honor for the innocent victim.
The head of the Kolsh Commune, Ferdinand Ndoi expressed his conviction that the decision of the Council will also be confirmed by the Prefect, and that the initiators of this decision have honored to the entire commune with the respect given to Aleks Nika, the peaceful protester who died on January 21st.
The council of the Kolsh Commune and the initiator group have not presented a motivation for the title, but it is expected to happen in the approval of the Prefect.
