The Self-Determination Movement is working hard for appointing their new leader this February, but the party seems very divided, with Dardan Molliqaj openly against the candidacy of former leader and founder, Albin Kurti.
Their public clashes peaked after a leak of private conversations between Self-Determination MPs, who were using offensive terms against their founder.
Self-Determination was formed in 2004 by Kurti and he led it until 2010, when the party first participated in local elections, by opposing international missions and the Kosovo government through very harsh and violent protests.
