The US agency, Bloomberg, which ranks countries according to their economic and health coverage system, has improved Albania’s position with seven spots.
The Health Index, according to Bloomberg, lists Albania 43rd. A few years ago Albania was listed 50th.
Albania is now listed right after Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina, leaving behind countries such as Slovakia and Hungary.
Bloomberg takes in consideration factors such as the type of food that is being consumed, obesity, longevity, infant mortality rate, the consumption of tobacco, alcohol, air pollution, water pollution, and Health System conditions.
