Ana Brnabic is the Serbian Prime Minister who received votes also by the Albanian representative.
The only Albanian MP, Fatmir Hasani, from the Preseheva Valley, voted in her favor and saying that after a meeting with Vucic, there have been promises for changes, and that the approach of Belgrade to Albanians has changed for the better.
“We think that our requests will be implemented now, since we have been in opposition for so many years. We hope to get what we are entitled to”, Hasani said.
The Albanian MP hopes that Brnabic and Vucic will see the opportunity to improve the life quality in their towns. That’s why Albanians are now part of the Parliament’s majority.
“The sooner Serbia cooperates for granting rights to minorities, the better it is, since Serbia is following the EU path”, Hasani added.
