Albanians panicked in Turkey, thought about returning

Elona Radani, a 31-year-old Albanian living in Turkey with her family
for several years, said for Top Channel she thought about returning
homoe after the recent turmoil.

“People were shocked and were calling their relatives. My first thought was to return home but we learned the airport was closed. People started getting large amounts of food supplies”, she said.

Saturday was calm and Istanbul’s streets are empty. TV stations remain the only means of information, since internet is still blocked.
