Albanians decorate windows and balconies for national holiday

Many families in Tirana are decorating their balconies with the Albanian flag, before November 28th, Albania’s Independence Day and national holiday.

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliajm appealed citizens to continue the tradition and decorate the balconies with the Albanian flag.

“Did you place your flag? The entire city is taking the red and black colors this week. Long Live Albania”, Veliaj wrote on Twitter.

The Mayor also invited Albanians who live abroad to spend the holiday in the capital, promising several activities.
