The European Basketball League started a disciplinary investigation against the Serbian team, for racism and homophobia.
The investigation started after the banner that was raised by a group of fans in the match against Olympiakos in Belgrade.
The banner which said “Albanians, Croatians and Muslims are not my brothers”, was addressed to the Bosnian player, Alen Omic, who became part of the team, while he was also applauded by other fans.
The Bosnian basketball player reacted through a message on Instagram, saying that whoever plays and whoever is a fan of their team, will always be his brother.
