President Bujar Nishani was invited for the Ulqin Day celebrations in Montenegro.
The Montenegrin president, Filip Vijanovic, was also present in this celebration together with other ministers and local leaders.
President Nishani thanked his Montenegrin counterpart for the care shown to the Albanian minority, which has its role with Montenegro’s integration processes.
“I am convinced that the Montenegro Albanians will continue to be an important contribution to their country, by helping with all Euro-Atlantic integration processes”, Nishani said.
President Nishani mentioned the fact that the Albanian Parliament was the first one to ratify Montenegro’s NATO accession agreement, an accession that, according to Nishani, increases not only the security of Montenegrin citizens, but helps the entire region.
