The President of Albania, Bujar Nishani, congratulated the newly elected
President of France, Emmanuel Macron, saying that the support of the
French people was very clear, not only for a more developed France, but
also for guaranteeing the continuity of the biggest European project
after WWII, the European Union.
“Your victory is encouraging for Albania and all Western Balkan countries, which have oriented their future towards the EU. I am convinced that France’s support to the EU integration process of Albania and Western Balkan will be even more significant. I express my deep gratitude for the support that France has given Albania through decades”, Nishani’s message says.
