The Albanian Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, held a meeting today with
the Mayor of Prishtina, Shpend Ahmeti, with whom he discussed about the
cooperation between Albania and Kosovo in a local level, and about the
recent developments in the region.
Meta expressed his support for intensifying the bilateral relations, mentioning the importance of reinforcing the cooperation between the Municipality of Tirana and the Commune of Prishtina.
Meta said that Albania supports social and economic progress and reinforces the institutional and democratic life in Kosovo, underlining the importance of a cooperative and constructive political force for the interest of citizens and the Euro-Atlantic Integration of the country.
