Albanian Marine group on NATO mission saved 115 Syrian refugees

The crew members of “Oriku” ship, part of the NATO operations in the Aegean Sea, saved 115 immigrants from Syria today, 45 of whom were children.
The crew noticed two inflatable boats going towards the European coast. The vessels were signalized to stop, and the Syrian citizens were handed over to authorities.
Just one week ago, Oriku saved 53 other Syrian citizens. Last year, Albanian marine forces have saved 715 people from drowining, half of them children and women.
