Albanian ICT Awards, the pan-national IT competition has started its six edition this year, looking for successful Albanians in the area of Information and Computer Technology.
ICT Awards promotes and awards professional Albanians, business leaders and young innovators and enthusiasts.
Kushtrim Shala, Co-Organizer of ICT Awards, says that today, “with the opening of the Albanian ICT Awards, they don’t start just an event, but an entire path with a series of activities, meetings, workshops, throughout the entire territory of Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and beyond.”
The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, declared during this meeting that the Municipality had decided to turn the Pyramid of Tirana into the biggest IT centre of the region.
Special guest in this ceremony was the Kosovo Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Luka, who said that digital transformation is their main objective.
The traditional sponsor of Albanian ICT Awards, for the past six years, has been the Dritan Hoxha Foundation.
