The Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, attended a visit with the UN General Secretary in new York, Lamberto Zannier.
They discussed Albania’s relation with the UN and its presence in our country by supporting the reforms and Albania’s EU integration process.
Minister Bushati and Zannier discussed about the recent developments, focusing in security.
Mr.Bushati also met with Mr.Frans Timmermans, First Vice President of the European Commission.
During this meeting, Bushati valued the role of the EC in supporting Albania’s integration process.
He underlined the progress reached by Albania with the reforms while Mr.Timmermans valued the progress with the key priorities and underlined that the judiciary reform is key for the EU path.
