Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, attended the meeting of
Foreign Ministers in Talin, Estonia, invited by the EU High
Representative of Foreign Affairs, Federica Mogherini, and his Estonian
counterpart, Sven Mikser.
The discussions in this meeting focused on preventing war against radicalism and violent extremism, among others.
Minister Bushati confirmed Albania’s commitment and informed about our country’s achievements in the efforts to prevent and fight violent extremism.
Bushati also expressed Albania’s constant support on the foreign policies of the EU, as regards challenges and security.
Bushati also underlined that Western Balkan needs a n increased presence of the EU to face joint challenges and reduce the development gap between Balkan and Europe, through financial instruments of the enlargement process.
During his visit in Talin, Bushati also attended a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto.
