Orthodox devotees in Vlora visited the Saint Theodore Church today, praying and lighting up candles.
The priest of this church, father Constantine, held a message for the people in which he also addressed to two important problems: not having enough room in the current church and the lack of a cathedral in Vlora.
“Most of the visitors stay outside. We have been makind the demand, but nothing has been done so far”, father Constantine said.
Last night Orthodox devotees celebrated the Black Friday, which started with the traditional mass and continued with people walking on the city’s streets, a ritual that symbolizes their pain for the crucifixion of Christ.
