Despite the difficult conditions and lack of financial stimulus, Albanian sportsmen and sportswomen keep competing in European and world arenas with dignity.
The well-known athlete, Luiza Gega, raised the Albanian flag at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona, Spain.
She ran an excellent race for 3000 meters hurdles, receiving a gold medal.
Luiza Gaga’s best time was 9’27’73, leaving behind the Tunisian Habiba Ghribi, seven seconds later.
