Albania has started off the Brasil 2012 qualification matches on the
right foot. The Albanian national football team won over Cyprus at 3:1
at the “Qemal Stafa” stadium.
Sadiku scored the first goal at the 36 minute with a head shot. Cyprus equalized at the third minute of extra time with a free kick shot by Laban.
The Italian coach of the Albanian team, Gianni De Biasi set the fate of the second half with his substitutions: Hyka, Cani and Bogdani entered the field in the second half giving victory to the Albanian team with their game.
A long pass served by Hyka at the 82nd minute found Cani dueling with the defender and goalkeeper of the opponents, scoring the second goal for Albania.
Bogdani sealed the fate of this match with one of the best goals ever seen in the Albanian national stadium Qemal Stafa. The tall Siena player gave a strong right kick in a 30 meter distance and scored the final goal by closing the match in favor of Albania.
