The General Accrediting Directory has signed recently a mutual
acknowledging agreement with European and International Accrediting
Operators for teseting. This means that all the certificates issued by
these accredited labs will be accepted in a European level.
The Minister of Economy, Milva Ekonomi, was enthusiastic about these achievements. She said that Albania is part of the regional, European markets and even beyond, this is why it is important to compete with good, certified and safe consumer goods.
The Minister released this declaration during a conference called: “Accrediting, more profits for businesses, more guarantees for consumers”, organized by the General Accrediting Directory.
The Directory has accredited 64 operators, 34 of which are testing labs, 3 medical labs, 3 calibrating labs, 3 management system certification programs, 3 personnel certification operators and 13 inspective troops.
