Albania presents trade economic reforms at the WTO

The Deputy Minister of Economy, Ervin Mete, presented this Wednesday the
economic and commercial reforms at the World Trade Organization in
Geneva, for the 2010-2015 period.

The report of the Albanian government and the other developments in the country were considered successful and on the right track for a stable economic growth.

“The WTO members, including the EU, the USA, Canada, Turkey, China, Brazil, Montenegro, Moldavia, etc, valued the reforms undertaken for the economic recovery, foreign investments, investments in infrastructure, easier commercial and customs procedures”, says the press release.

The representatives of member countries congratulated Albania for the new approach for consulting businesses, and encouraged a further consolidation in this cooperation.

The EU membership was valued as one of the main encouragements for the economic and trade development. Albania also received support and congratulations from all member countries, the announcement says.
