Albania will participate for the first time in a NATO mission in the Aegean Sea, helping immigrants who try to come to Europe.
The news was made public by the Minister of Defense, Mimi Kodheli.
In a joint press conference with her Dutch counterpart, Jeanine Hennis Plasschaert, Mrs.KOdheli said there will be an intensification of cooperation between both countries.
The Dutch Minister of Defense, Plasschaert, said the world is facing serious dangers today.
“We need to fight for our prosperity, safety and freedom every single day”, the Dutch Minister said.
