Albania-Kosovo agreement for protecting investments

Albania and Kosovo signed an agreement for mutual encouraging and
protection of investments. The documents were signed by two women, the
respective Minister of Economy, Milva Ekonomi and Hykmete Bajrami.
The agreement aims to regulate, promote and encourage the direct investments in Albania and Kosovo.
This gives investors security and guarantee, so that their investments will be protected and treated equally, according to the law, with the standards and practices accepted internationally.
By encouraging mutual investments, this agreements aims to help the general economic development in both countries.
The law will enter in effect when the parties will notify each other on fulfilling all legal requests for its implementation.
