Albania-Italy-Montenegro operation, 500 kg of marijuana seized

The Italian Police has seized 500 kg of marijuana that was trying to
enter their country through a power boat. The operation was a
cooperation between the Albanian, Italian and Montenegrin police.

Authorities from Tirana and Italy gave details about the operation. THe traffickers had thrown the drug in the sea while being chased by the Guardia di Finanza, being able to escape. The drug was seized by the authorities.

The cost of the drug was 5 million EUR. The Italian authorities were unable to keep chasing them, and have notified the police of Montenegro and Albania.
