The fire situation in Gjinar has reached alarming levels, with many homes being at the risk zone.
Wind and high temperature are favoring the spread of fires. The mountainous terrain also makes it impossible for firefighters to intervene from land.
There are 10 houses near the pine forest. Residents have not left their homes and are cutting trees to not let fire reach their residences.
