The Minister of Finances, Arben Ahmetaj, commented on a Facebook status
about the Labor Force Survey for the second trimester of 2016, published
by INSTAT.
According to Ahmetaj, this survey confirms that even during the second trimester of the year, unemployment has kept dropping and more jobs were created.
“Employment increased with 6.8%, compared to the second trimester of 2015, 1.8% more than the first trimester of 2016”, INSTAT says.
“Unemployment has continued even this trimester, dropping to 15.5%, or 1.1% less than the first trimester of the year. Certainly that our battle for employment is there, and it goes on every day. But the Albanian economy shows every day that it is in a cycle of growth and long-term consolidation”, Ahmetaj declared.
