The Minister of Economy and Industry, Arben Ahmetaj, declared in a
communication for the media that the offer for the free economic area
will bring profits for the Albanian economy.
“Within 30 days we will declare the winner for the Spitalla area. This is an important step, because there are 1.5 billion USD that will be injected in the Albanian economy in the next nine years, in different industries and with a high technology. But there are 90.000 new jobs that will be created for the Albanian citizens”, Ahmetaj declared.
He underlined that the existence of two offers for the creation of this area comes as result of the government reforms to improve the business climate.
“We have offers because we will return this area into one of the most competitive in the region. This is the real economy that offers employment and economic development opportunities”, Ahmetaj declared.
