The brother of the Albanian Minister of Interior, Agron Xhafaj, has filed a criminal lawsuit against three officials of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj, Gament Bardhi and Ervin Salianji, who published an audio recording, which, according to them, proves that the law-enforcing institutions are aware of the criminal activities of Agron Xhafaj, who, they claim, is leader of a criminal organization and manages drug traffic.
Agron Xhafaj claims the recording is fake and created through manipulation.
The audio recording published by the Democratic Party is allegedly between “Collaborator X” and Agron Xhafaj.
“Collaborator X” is Xhafajs collaborator in the past. After getting out of prison, he has arrived to Albania, allegedly asking him a load of cannabis and an employment as a powerboat driver, to send it to Italy, because he is broke.
DP accuses Agron Xhafaj as a drug boss, and they claim the Interior Minister has guaranteed him impunity.
