General Chief of Police, Hysni Burgaj and the Director of the Center for the Protection of Children’s Rights signed a cooperation agreement which enables the
publication of data for lost children in Albania also in the global portal.
The agreement initiated by UNICEF enables Albanian police to publish data of lost children in the main page of the greatest center that searches lost children, with its headquarters in USA.
This agreement will enable information exchange between the State Police and the Center for the Protection of Children’s Rights. The lost Albanian children do not make an alarming number in the world list. Most of the lost children were taken in the 1990s to be exploited by traffickers for begging or prostitution.
