Since Albania was the first country that signed with TAP in April 2013,
we had the right to have our agreement adopted to that of other
countries.
The Albanian government amended the agreement with the Trans Adriatic Pipeline, which will allow our budget to earn more from the tax on profit, after the pipeline will be operational.
This is expected to bring 60 million EUR more to the budget. Investments for the Albanian communities will also increase from 7 to 14 million EUR.
The training funds will also be doubled, from 350.000 to 700.000 EUR.
The Understanding Memorandum aims to support the newly created company, “Albgaz”, which will be the gas distribution operator in Albania after TAP will be operational.
