One day before the Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes had to decide on the house arrest of former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri, the US Ambassador said that the judges involved had received pressure.
Today, after the court ruled to remove Tahiri’s house arrest, the US Ambassador said for Top Channel that he stands to his previous declaration.
In his first declaration, the Ambassador said that the media and civil society should take a very close look to this case, because there had been efforts for pressuring the judges.
