After international pressure, SMI appeals citizens to restrain from violence

One hour after Palmer’s interview for the Voice of America, the Socialist Movement for Integration appealed the citizens to distance themselves from violent acts. The same appeal was made to the militants of the SMI.

SMI appeals militants to not fall prey to the provocations that will keep increasing, “since the criminal machinery of the criminal power, now under the pressure of panic, feeling the near punishment, will try with any cost to create chaos, confusion and conflict, in order to legitimate Rama’s criminal efforts to bring down the republic and take over the state”, the reaction said.
