A few weeks before the opening of the most demanded court in our country
for the recent years, the High Council of Justice held a very long
meeting that took all day with the heads of administrative courts.
The president of the Administrative Court of First Instance in Tirana will be Judge Eriol Roshi; president of the Administrative Court of Appeal in Tirana, Judge Kastriot Selita; president o the Administrative Court of Shkoder, Valbona Duraj; president of the Administrative Court of Durres, Genci Sinjari; president of the Administrative Court of Korce, Sokol Ibi; president of the Administrative Court of Vlore, Astrit Sheme, and Ramiz Lala in Gjirokaster.
The HCJ declared that the Administrative Court of Tirana will start working on November 4th. For the first instance they will use the existing building of the former Institution of Zoo-technical researches, at the Don Bosko street; the Administrative Court of Durres will use the former bailiff office, while all others will work within the existing buildings of each respective courts.
The Minister of Justice, Nasip Naco, reiterated the appeal for filling the nine vacancies in the administrative courts in districts and at the High Court.
For the Albanian President and head of the HCJ, Bujar Nishani, the opening of the administrative courts is good news for the citizens. “I would want to express my gratitude towards those who have worked to make possible this service for the citizens, for the problems of their administration, which should be resolved faster and decently”, Nishani declared.
The Justice Minister, Nasip Naco, reminded that with the opening of this institution they need to review the budget of the judiciary.
Candidacies for the Supreme Court
President announces the list, but “excludes” Igli Toska and Sinan Tafaj. Only 21 names fulfill the criteria.

After the procedures will be over, the President will start cooperating with the Albanian Parliament, based on the list of candidates.
