“Today is a big day as regards news. It is clear that we will not be the first news for today, but I want to thank Top Channel that will broadcast this and we congratulate you for what you have done. We have followed your work from the beginning, and we want to value this group of the civil society and environmentalists, who not only made your voice to be heard, but on the same time you amplified the voices of 60.000 citizens and maybe more”, Arvizu declared.
The new “Act Now” champions honored the memory of one of the personalities of this initiative who doesn’t live anymore, publicist Ardian Klosi.
After an intensive campaign in several cities, the Alliance Against Waste Import gathered the right number of votes that allowed a referendum on December 23rd. The referendum might not be held at all, because the new government has decided to repeal the law in question.
